Adam started playing the piano at the age of 9 and has been teaching piano for the past 15 years. Tuition is available up to and including Associated Board grade 8. Tuition is also available for students intending to enter for AB Jazz piano exams and keyboard players.

Woodwind Tuition

Adam started playing the flute and recorder at the age of 9, later taking up the saxophone and then the clarinet. Over the years he has taught woodwind in various schools and has had a number of private students. Tuition is available up to and including Associated Board grade 8 on flute, saxophone and recorder and up to grade 5 on clarinet.

Beyond grade 5, instrumentalists require a certificate in Grade 5 theory to progress to practical grades 6 and above. During the course of regular instrumental lesson, points of relevant theory will be discussed. However, tuition is available in pure theory for students wishing to work at an accelerated rate with the goal of grade 5 theory in mind.
